CHAI MONGKHON TEMPLE or WAT CHAI MONGKHON was built during the reign of King Rama IV. It houses the Buddha Chai Mongkhon statue, which was relocated here from Ayutthaya in 1942. People often pray to the statue for the power to grant wishes.
